We bid farewell to Bob Erwin of Oneill, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Erwin and Ella Erwin (Wilkinson); his sister Betty Lou; his wife Barbara Hancock; his stepfather Woodrow Grim; and his close friend Leona Hershiser.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hall of Omaha, NE, Steve Erwin (Penny) of Mesa, AZ, Jeff Erwin (Cathy) of Norfolk, NE, John Erwin (Robin) of Norfolk, NE and Stacie Schutte (John) of Allen, NE. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Neill Methodist Church (404 W Cedar St, O'Neill, NE 68763). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the O'Neill Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the athletic departments at St. Mary's High School and O'Neill Public High School.
