He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Marcellus and Ella Marcellus (Robertson); his daughter Cheri Stucker; his granddaughter Marty Jo Birnie; his great grandchild Jordyn Bernie; his sister Lorna Fox; and his brother-in-law Ronnie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Marcellus of O'Neill; his children, Greg Marcellus (Rhonda) of Stuart, Candy Baker of O'Neill, Cyndi Petersen of Columbus, Gary Marcellus (Sheila) of Andover, KS and Gordon Marcellus of Bassett; his son-in-law Greg Stucker of Sterling City, TX; his siblings, Sharon Smith of O'Neill, Marge Reynoldson (Allen) of O'Neill and Dick Marcellus (Joanne) of Orchard; and his brother-in-law Gordon Fox of O'Neill. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
