She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Groves and Leona Groves (Wray); her husband Orville Nickeson; her daughter-in-law Vicky Nickeson; and her siblings, Paul Groves, Bill Groves, Bob Groves and Frances.

She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Nickeson (Donna) of O'Neill, NE and Randy Nickeson of Plattsmouth, NE; her grandchildren, Erica Haake (Trevor) of Grand Island, NE, Daniel Nickeson (Dana) of Norfolk, NE, Brett Nickeson of Omaha, NE, Eric Nickeson (Alyse) of Kansas City, MO and Jamie Null (Randy) of Plattsmouth, NE; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Ira, Quincy Haake, Davaney Nickeson and Jace Null; and her sister-in-law Margaret Groves of Crawfordsville, IN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
