It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter E. Peffer Jr. (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Walter E. Peffer Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward Peffer and Leona Mae Peffer; and his siblings, Michael, William Peffer (Betty) and Diana Peffer.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Peffer (Stacy), Angie Connell (Matt) and Dannielle Laramee (David); his grandchildren, Jacob, Julian, Brooke, Lauryn, Chloe, Grace, Henry, Hailey and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Kensley, Avery and Brooks; and his brother Tim Peffer (Deb). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Community Church (404 S 108th Ave, Omaha, NE 68154). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Tunnel to Towers in Walt's memory.

Walt and I worked together in City Government for many years and I would periodically touch base with him as I moved to Kansas City almost 30 years ago.
