It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Alfred Ruma of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ruma and Sarita Ruma. He is survived by: his wife Cindy of Omaha; his children, Michael Ruma (Kari) of Albuquerque, Matthew Ruma (Lyndsay) of Omaha, Nebraska and Julie Scallen (Brian) of Northville, Michigan; his grandchildren, Taylor, Tommy, Sam and Jane; and his sister Sarah Ruma of Omaha, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that MEMORIALS be directed to CUES School System to provide funds to children who might not be able to participate in soccer.

I remember him from Sons of Italy spaghetti dinners prior to Omaha Marathons. My sincerest condolences to his family. Rest in peace Tom. Pat Mauro”
