He was predeceased by: his parents, Newcomb Spencer and Ellen Spencer (Reilly); his wife Virginia Ciesynski; his stepchildren, Benedict, Cynthia and Dionne Kathleen; his siblings, Cathy Holmes, Dale and Patrick Spencer; and his sister-in-law Barb Spencer.
He is survived by: his children, Terrence R. Spencer (Johnnie) of Calumet City, IL and Peggy Spencer of Omaha, NE; his brothers, Tom Spencer of McGregor, MN and Ted Spencer (Faye) of Duluth, MN; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Spencer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
