With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Steven R. Vachal in Omaha, Nebraska, born in David City, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 71. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vachal and Beryldene Vachal; his siblings, Shirley Lane and Randall Vachal; his parents-in-law, Bob Rodrigues and Nellie Rodrigues; his siblings-in-law, Helen Lubash and Charles Rodrigues; and his nephew Bobby Rodrigues.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Vachal; his children, Jacob Vachal, Nichole Imhoff (Joshua), Stephanie Vachal and Ginny Vachal; his grandchildren, Dominic, Ian, Arianna, Marcelino, Yesenia, Camden, Ryann, Dallas, Alexia and Darion; his great grandchild Santiago; and his siblings, Debra Sewell (Ray), Terry Vachal (Marie) and Richard Vachal.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Braman Mortuary (Millard Chapel) (6505 S 144th St, Omaha, NE 68137). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
