He was predeceased by: his son Tim Shafer; his granddaughter Joslyn Dunn; and his son-in-law Jeff Dunn. He is survived by: his wife Pat Shafer; his children, Greg Shafer (Shelley) and Stephanie Dunn; his grandchildren, Matt Dunn (Rachel), Nate Shafer (Ella), Emily Shafer, Jake Dunn, Paige Myint and Sanel Kesmer; and his sister Andrea Wagner. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
