She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Albert Runge and Johanne "Lee" Runge. She is survived by: her husband Gene Martens; and her children, Mary Afeman (Luke) and Stephen FitzMaurice (Penny). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; her extended family and many good friends.
