He was predeceased by: his parents, Donavon Nelson and Lois Nelson; his father-in-law Robert Larson; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Cambridge and Kay Larson.
He is survived by: his wife Kristi Jo Larson; his sons, Eric (Lauren), Brian, Mark and Adam (Rachel); his grandchildren, Elliot, Peter, Frances, Caleb and Connor; his sisters, Paulette Cambridge and Peggy Mikolajczk (Ed); his mother-in-law Margaret Larson; and his brothers-in-law, David Larson (Michelle), Kenton Larson, Timothy Larson (Lori) and Robert Larson (Cheryl). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pacific Street Chapel (14151 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68154). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rejoice! Lutheran Church (2556 S 138th St, Omaha, NE 68144).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Rejoice Lutheran Church.
