He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Carlson and Mary Carlson; his brothers, Ed, Dick and Don Carlson; and his grandson Thomas Carlson.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Carlson; his children, David (Laura), Doug (Chris), Dan (Jenny) and Ann Wiseman; his grandchildren, Matthew Carlson (Tricia), Sarah Dickmann (Alex), Tim, Katie, Megan, Joe, Jack, Courtney Carlson, Michael Wiseman (Sidrah), Daniel and Robert Wiseman; his great grandchildren, Will and Jake Carlson; and his siblings, LouAnn Leland (John) and Thomas Carlson (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
