The memory of Robert Edward Kocanda (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Jerry; and his siblings, Ed, Jerry (Mary), Frank, Gene (Mary Lou), Dorothy (Connie) and Mary Ellen (Sterling "Dutch").

He is survived by: his wife Berni (Sirek); his children, Ken, Dave, Brian (Kim) and Julie (Randy); his grandchildren, Jacob, Nick (Amanda), Michaela (Jared), Hailey, Brooke (Deven), Jessica, Loren (Abbi), Elliott, John (Sandy), Ryan (Dani), Jason, Brandi (Joe) and Ron (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Caleb, Gwen, Luella, Anita, Ramona, Malea, Declan, Lincoln, Wesley, Austin (Felicia), Kyleigh, Kyerstin, Lucille, Ray, Lathan, Dalton, Janet, McKenzie, Riley, Hunter, Jude, Maddux, Mila, Mireya, Brooke, Ryan, Leyc and Ollie; and his sister Rita (Yudge). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (5219 S 53rd St, Omaha, NE 68117).
