She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Horton and Edna Horton; her husband Robert Shaffer; and her children, Kathleen Howard, Nora Kugler, Elizabeth Manriquez, Clarissa Burden, Michael Shaffer, Richard Paul Shaffer, Patrick Shaffer and Peter Shaffer.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Lee (Richard), Mary Buttice (Duane), Robert Shaffer (Susan), Kevin Shaffer, Danny Shaffer (Cindy), John Shaffer, Antoinette DeSantiago (Joseph) and Annette Dozier (Thomas). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews.
A rosary was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (109 S 19th St, Omaha, NE 68103). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church (109 S 19th St, Omaha, NE 68103).
