It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Thomas (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mark Phillips and Ida Mae Phillips-Broughton; her husband John Thomas Jr.; her brothers, Willie, Mark, Ernest and Freddy Phillips; and her grandson Antwain King.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest, John (Vicki), Brian of Omaha, NE, Yulondia Pettigrew (Albert) of Bellevue, NE, Sharon and Alecia of Omaha. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews.
