It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Wisniski of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Cole and Leona Cole; and her daughter Kimberly Witherspoon. She is survived by: her children, Mary Hiatt, Michelle Johnson, Tracy Wisniski, Scott Wisniski, Cory Wisniski and Darren Wisniski; her daughter-in-law Mary Wisniski; her grandchildren, Crystal Witherspoon, Jimmy Witherspoon, Hope Witherspoon, Colton Johnson, Serena Johnson, Jack Wisniski and Maddy Wisniski; her sisters, Sharon Hoffman and Dee Sledge; and her former husband Frank Wisniski. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A vigil service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (654 S 86th St, Omaha, NE 68114). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Saint John Cemetery (7506 S 36th St, Bellevue, NE 68147).
