He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Henry Schipporeit and Dorothy Mediger Schipporeit. He is survived by: his wife Chris Schipporeit; his daughter Liz Gunkelman (Bob); his grandsons, Matt (Haley) and Joe (Sami); his son Tom Schipporeit (Janet); his granddaughter Maddy; his daughter Ellen Schipporeit Oliver (Cameron); his grandchildren, Alex, Ayden, Emma and Melissa Langston (Luther); his great grandchild LuLu; and his brother Dennis Schipporeit (Barb). He is also survived by children and grandchildren; and other nieces, nephews, dear old friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Braman Mortuary (Millard Chapel) (6505 S 144th St, Omaha, NE 68137). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
