He was predeceased by: his father Robert Smith. He is survived by: his mother Claudine Smith; his siblings, William Smith (Linda), Trish Casale (Joe) and Linda Pederson; and his girlfriend Jackie Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
