It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Dee Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Lyle may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lyle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel (1140 10th Ave, Sidney, NE 69162). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church - Sidney (1039 14th Ave, Sidney, NE 69162).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Alzheimer's Association (225 N MICHIGAN AVE STE 1700 CHICAGO, IL 60601-7652) or in care of the family.
