He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Janssen and Juanita Janssen (Tucker). He is survived by: his wife Patty Hamilton Steele; his son David Janssen (Deborah); his sister Barb Jones (Warren); his granddaughters, Mindy Kneifl (Ryan) and Jaclyn; his great grandchildren, Elliot and Sully; and his friend Dave Bauers.
Memorials may be directed to the Nebraska Humane Society in Lonnie's honor.
