With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVerne Maynard of Omaha, Nebraska, born in Orchard, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbridge and Hazel; and his sister Audrey. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his sons, Royce (Trish) and Terry (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Jessie Barges (Grant), Maura, Henry "Will", Cara, Jack, Meghan and Nella; his great grandchild Baylor Andrew; and his siblings, Alvin Maynard (Charline) and Lois Valera (Rudy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
