He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Matthew (Jen), Michael and Becky Albright (Jeremy); his grandsons, Aidan, Chase, Logan, Maxon and Ryder; and his siblings, Robert (Jan), Ann Boekhout (George) and Loretta McCarter (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“It is with my deepest sympathy that I remember the life of Larry. Having grown up with Larry in Whiting, IA from K- 12, I remember a gifted athlete, good student and well-liked classmate. Although Larry had a quiet nature, he was fun to be around and could laugh and kid around as well as anyone. After all, we were all just kids back then when life was never taken too seriously. Although we lost touch later in life, I did visit Bonnie and Larry once in Omaha. He loved his cars. RIP, friend”
