Karen Kay Pokorny Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Kay Pokorny of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Bert Pokorny. She is survived by: her mother Lenore Nosal Pokorny of Omaha; her siblings, Chris of Waverly, Kim Cline (Bart) of Lenox, IA, Kelly Gibson (Jason) of Omaha and Colleen Spies (Eric) of Omaha; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyle (Kath) Pokorny (Brody and Abby), Amy Pokorny, Branden (Rachel) Cline (Chesney, Fallon, and Monroe), Cody (Katin) Cline (Bo and Keller), Carson (Alyssa) Cline (Waylon and Colter), Allie (Carter) Still (Harper) (Carter), Taylor Gibson, Trevor Gibson (Abbi), Ava Spies and Micah Spies.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (20500 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A vigil service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
