In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Karen's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Karen's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Andrea Martin; and her mother Mary Ann Sweeney. She is survived by: her children, Michael Martin, Bruce Martin (Sherry) and Leann Battleson (Michael); her stepfather Patrick Sweeney; and her brothers, Joe Vetro (Debbie), Tom Sweeney (Susan), Pat Sweeney (Cynthia) and Mark Sweeney (Ann). She is also survived by Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (7710 W Center Rd, Omaha, NE 68124).
