She was predeceased by: her parents, E. L. Carpenter and Irene Carpenter; her husband James; her son Kelly; her daughter-in-law Debbie; and her sisters, Pat Carpenter and Floyce George (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Lynette Soden (Steve) of Omaha, NE and Luanne Gallegos (Greg) of Blackhawk; her grandchildren, Brandon Soden (Amy), Stefanie Rowe (Dave) of Omaha, NE, Trent Autry, Kimbra Autry of Odessa, TX, Whitney Carruth (Steve) of Seattle, WA, Kristy Garcia (Adam) of Thornton, CO, Dana Clark (Connor) of Richmond, TX and Alan Gallegos of Houston, TX; and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Crewe Soden, Dekker, Tucker Rowe, Zoe, Morgan Autry, Tayla Gonzales and Anthony Garcia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Community Church (27435 County Rd 22. 75, Rocky Ford, CO 81067).
