He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Mae Schluter. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Schluter (Sandra), Julie Schluter (Jeff Wickwire), Theresa Ansley (Jeremy) and Erica Welniak; and his siblings, Jim Reiser, Judy Marx (Dick) and Bob Schluter (Debra). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roeder Mortuary Gretna Chapel (11710 Standing Stone Dr, Gretna, NE 68028). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
