It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph G. Prue Jr. (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Prue and Marie Prue (Goldax). He is survived by: his children, Joseph Wagner of Fort Worth and Natalie Waters (Ryan) of Hebron, NE; his grandchildren, Amber Jean, Milo Joseph and Jonas Robert; and his sisters, Velma "Dottie" Douchey and Lynda Tomasello. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Cemetery.
