He was predeceased by : his parents, Marcella Allen and Bill Allen. He is survived by : his wife Sue Allen; his children, Marcella "Marcie" Allen (Romas) and Matthew McGinness (Christie); his grandchildren, Kaleb McGinness and Caitlyn Morris; and his brothers, Bill Allen (Chris) and Jim Allen (Sandy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106).
