He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Heather Obregon of Omaha and Peter Klokstad of Fargo; his brother Gary Klokstad (Anne); his grandchildren, Joshua Obregon (Kate) of Omaha, Delaney Morgenstern (Patrick) of East Lansing, MI, Danielle Svoboda (Tyson) of Omaha and Jillian Obregon of Charlotte, NC; and his great grandchild Brady Obregon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorial, contributions be donated to either the North Dakota United Foundation or the UND Alumni Association Foundation.
