He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D Hilzendeger and Donna M Hilzendeger (Heaney); his brother Joey; his brother-in-law Ronald Debus; and his father-in-law James Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hilzendeger (Schmidt); his sons, Douglas (Melody), Trenton (Jill Brisky) and Brant (McKenna Greenwell); his grandsons, Hunter and Dominiq; his pet Koda; his brothers, Andrew, Bub Edwards (Patti) and Sister Andrea Debus (Edwards); his mother-in-law Darlene Schmidt; and his brothers-in-law, Brady Schmidt (Shannon) and Troy Schmidt (Shelley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Reichmuth Funeral Home - Omaha (21901 W Maple Rd, Elkhorn, NE 68022). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
