It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Marie Norby of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jane Marie Norby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Hendrickson and Helen Hendrickson (Larson); her husband Dean Norby; her siblings, Jay Hendrickson, Barbara Fraley, Phyllis Bulson and Lynda Jenkins; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin Norby, Will Smith, Mike Jenkins, Merle Bulson, Edna Norby and Joan Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Fannin (Micah) of Omaha and Joel Norby of Tucson, Arizona; her grandchildren, Violet and Zeb Fannin of Omaha, Nebraska; her siblings, Terry Nielsen (Loren) of Stewartville, Minnesota and Richard Hendrickson (Jeanette) of Gilbert, Arizona; and her siblings-in-law, Marlys Smith of Memphis, Tennessee and Francis Jacobs of Osage, Iowa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church (3269 Foothill Ave, Osage, IA 50461). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association.
