He is survived by: his wife Colette Hughes (Schroeder); his mother Mary Jo Hughes; his parents-in-law, Robert (Bob) and Carol Schroeder; his uncle Bobby Hughes (Ruth Ann); his siblings, Keith Hughes (Susanna) and Libby Ranney (Joe); his brothers-in-law, David Schroeder (Lisa), Kirk Schroeder (Marlene) and Tom Schroeder; his children, Jenni McCall (Bill), Sommer Fox, Brandy Ringleb and James V Hughes V.; and his grandchildren, Madelyn Quesnel (Matt), Austin Fox, Aubry Herrell, Abby Herrell, Billie Rae McCall, James V Hughes VI, Evelyn Ringleb, Sophia Ringleb and Roman Ringleb. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
