We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2024, at the age of 74, James R. Gehrken (Omaha, Nebraska), born in Gretna, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelaide Gehrken (Gnaster) and Herman Gehrken; and his former wife Rosalind Gehrken (Houser) of Grenta's St. He is survived by: his children, Briana Phelan (Gehrken) and Jason Gehrken; his grandchildren, Adelaide, Liam and Eleanor; and his sister JoAnn Drueke (Gehrken).
In lieu of flowers, Jim has requested donations be made in his name to his daughter's nonprofit, Felius Cat Cafe and Rescue.
