She was predeceased by: her son Tim O'Brien; her stepdaughter Linda Hopkins; her grandson Vincent O'Brien; and her parents, Gordon Bennett and Violet Bennett.
She is survived by: her husband Ernie; her children, Steve O'Brien (Lisa) of Ottumwa, IA, Cheryl Ozmun (Mike) of Elkhorn, Karen Bates (Gary) of Overland Park, KS, Ellen Rogers of Omaha, Laura Uettwiller (Allan) of Omaha, Paul Hopkins (Deb) of Omaha and Mike Hopkins (Terrie) of Omaha; her daughter-in-law Sue O'Brien of Creston, IA; and her brother Gerald Bennett (Susie) of Council Bluffs, IA.. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
