He was predeceased by: his former wife Juliette L. Cowdin. He is survived by: his children, Juliette, Hugh Jr., Colleen, Daniel and Peter; his wife Catherine Rokes; and also, John, Mark and Adam. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the 72nd Street Chapel (1010 N 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114). A wake will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (1920 N 102nd St, Omaha, NE 68114, USA).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hugh P. and Juliette L. Cowdin Communications Scholarship through the University of Nebraska Foundation.
