It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Austgen (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Austgen and Loretta Austgen (Wehner); his former wife Anastasia "Stacy" Austgen; his son Bernard Austgen; and his son-in-law Kenny Jackson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Alberta and Mary; his wife Anastasia Denger; his daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Jackson (John Kimsey); his grandchildren, Tom Karvasale, Patty Austgen, Jerry Karvasale, Kimmy Austgen, Stephanie Watts (Jackson), Christopher Austgen, Anastasia Zickefoose (Jackson), Lindsey Liesenfelt (Austgen), Kenny Jackson, Tim Urbanski, Matt Urbanski, Lucas Urbanski and Joey Urbanski; his great grandchildren, Katie Karvasale, Aubri Stahl, Riley Vance, Chase Foos, Ryker Watts, Kenny Jackson, Caleb Karvasale, Kieran Jackson, Stevie Watts, Aubrey Karvasale, Benjamin Jordan Lowe IV and Jonah Karvasale; and his children, William Austgen (Linda Savage), Susan Karvasale (Tom Karvasale) and Jane Urbanski (Joe Urbanski). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces, Nephews, God Children and Cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (4710 N 90th St, Omaha, NE 68134). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fagen Miller Funeral Home (St. John).
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials can be made in Geralds name to St. James Catholic Church, 4710 N 90th St.
