He was predeceased by: his wife Norva Jean Gomez; his parents, Modesto Gomez and Matiana Gomez; and his siblings, Edward Babe Gomez, Tony Gomez, Modesto Gomez Jr., John Gomez, Eva Sandoval and Virginia Dominguez.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jean Kiger (Cliff), Margaret Hurd (Tim) and Kimberley Gomez (Mike Barton); his siblings, Danny Gomez, Robert Gomez (Lupe), Margaret Boniella (Ron), Rachel Flores and Ortensia McCracken; his grandchildren, Ryan Ratajski (Eileen), Matthew Ratajski (Jennifer), Melissa Bobzien (Bill), Jessica Neneman (Tim), Andrew Hurd (Nallely), Amanda Parks, Aiden, Madison, Makenzie, Noah, Liam, Timmy, Cecilia, Ethan, Skylin, Rylin, Angel, Rory, Mack, Taytum Jean and Roman; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Armstrong and Pam Eads.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2110 S 32nd Ave, Omaha, NE 68105. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
