Florence R. Latzel Obituary

The memory of Florence R. Latzel (Omaha, Nebraska), who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Florence shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Florence farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Latzel; her daughter Rose Ann Latzel; and her parents, Stanley Kornet and Helen Kornet. She is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A vigil service was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church (5219 S 53rd St, Omaha, NE 68117).
