It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Walter of Omaha, Nebraska, born in Belden, Nebraska, who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wheatley and Margaret Wheatley (Opfer); her husband Noel; her children, Jack, Chuck, David Galley and Elizabeth Galley Chapin; and her siblings, Charles Wheatley and Jackie Luther.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Waninger (Galley) of Fremont and Jeri Walter of Omaha; her siblings, David Marreel (Sharyn) of Lincoln and Millie Pawling of Hooper; and her sister-in-law Marise Wheatley of Thornton, CO.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
