He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Aden and Grace Margaret Aden; and his brothers, Rick and Roger Aden. He is survived by: his wife Vickie of Luke's Lutheran Church; his sisters-in-law, Aggie Jayne (Mike) and Bonnie Aden; his children, Tami Bednar (Tom), Suzanne Walton (Mike), Julie Raether (Randy), Erik Aden and Kristi Dowding (Josh); and his grandchildren, Alex Bednar (Kara Brown), Mackenzie Peters (Jordan), Grant Bednar, Reid Bednar (Mila), Jordan Godberson (Sam), Taylor Godberson (Amanda), Nick Berg (Jenny), Madison Berg (Jamie McGann), Nick Raether, Angela Temme (Jonathan), Lina Aden, Tatum Dowding, Hannah Dowding and Aden Dowding. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home (5701 Center St, Omaha, NE 68106). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Community Church (404 S 108th Ave, Omaha, NE 68154).
