He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bartunek and Diana Bartunek; his girlfriend Diane Zych; and his brother-in-law Paul Lorence. He is survived by: his friend Terry Patton; his children, Diana Bartunek (Craig), Edward Bartunek and David Bartunek; his grandchildren, Ashton, Jens, Jace, Ariana, Allyson, Haid'n, David and Elias; his brothers, Patrick Bartunek, John Bartunek (Jeanette), Alan Bartunek (Lisa) and Terry Bartunek (Cindy); his aunt Mary Bartunek; his uncle Ron Bartunek; and also Laura Parker (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A vigil service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Vigil Service Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home Chapel (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the South Omaha Eagles Club (6607 Sunshine Dr, Omaha, NE 68107).
