He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Mary Jean Filbey (Gross); his brother Thomas Christopher Filbey (Jade Kaitlin Filbey); and his nieces and nephews, Sophie Lynn Filbey and Thomas Richard Filbey.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Bethany Funeral Home & Cremation Service (8201 Harrison St, La Vista, NE 68128). A rosary was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Calendar St. Columbkille Catholic Church (200 E Sixth St, Papillion, NE 68046).
