He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Lee Branch and Agnes Carol Dorsey; his son Daniel Lee Mitchell (Tanika) of Upper Marlboro, MD; his grandchildren, Iziah, Daniel Jr. and Messiah; the mother of his child Ethel Mitchel-Rock (Wayne) of Glenn Dale, MD; his siblings, Wilbert Dorsey of Denver, CO, Kevin Dorsey (Lynn) of Palos Verdes, CA, Donna Dorsey of Omaha, NE, Brenda Dorsey of Omaha, NE and Bruce Dorsey of Omaha, NE; his friends, Levy Chism, John Jones and Ronnie Trammel; and his cousin Carlos Watson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home - 90th Street Chapel (3809 N 90th St, Omaha, NE 68134). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
