Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Brown Sr. and Vella Mae Woodley-Reno; his stepfather Floyd Reno; his sisters, Dian Brown-Daughtery and Jo-Anne-Hill; and his nephew Corey Oliver.
He is survived by: his daughters, DeShawn Holloway and Geshila D Bender (Jamaal); and his sister Ivory Brown-Hennessee. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Good Shepherd Funeral & Cremation Services - 90th (3809 N 90th St, Omaha, NE 68134). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Omaha National Cemetery (14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138).
