With solemn reverence, we commemorate Cecelia R. Zuerlein (Omaha, Nebraska), whose life came to an end on November 13, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Zuerlein; her daughters, Debra and Therese Zuerlein; her great grandchild Peytyn Charvat; and her sons-in-law, Jamie Leavitt and Thomas J O'Neill III.
She is survived by: her children, Rose Leavitt, Jacquie O'Neill, Joni Hickman (Rob), Katie Galloway (Pat) and John Zuerlein (Jeff Hinchee); and her brothers, Jerry (Martha) and Bob Weiss (Betty). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (3601 N 65th St, Omaha, NE 68104). A wake was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be directed by the family.
