She is survived by: her brother Charles Merle Schafer (Evelyn) of Murdock, NE; her son Rob Bates (Patti); her granddaughters, Lauren E. Bates and Melissa Bates Hammer (Josh); and her great grandchildren, Lyla Shea Hammer of Omaha and Josie Rose Hammer of Omaha.
