It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernadine I. Hansen of Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 23, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Shol and Leone Shol (Stolley); her husband Juhl Hansen; her children, Rodney Hansen and Rhonda Cline (Marty); and her siblings, Ronald Shol, Howard Shol and Darlene Bowen (Deryle).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nichola "Niki" Frerichs (Matt) of Omaha, Jewel Nickolisen (Chad) of Omaha and Mindy Nuzum (Jade) of Omaha, Nebraska; her great grandchildren, Emma, Sydney, Nickolas Frerichs, Chloe, Jackson Nickolisen, Jada and Noah Nuzum; her brother Robert Shol of Moorhead, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Colleen Shol of Moorhead, Iowa. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moorhead Christian Church (407 Oak St, Moorhead, IA 51558). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
