He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Bertha; his children, Karen Kaspar, Richard and Marsha; and his brother Bob Kasper (Elaine M. Kaspar).

He is survived by: his brother Elmer (Bob); his cousins, Ron and Ken Vavrina; his great grandchildren, Kylie and Tyson; and his sons, Mike Kaspar, Ken Kaspar (Linda), Ron Kaspar (Janet) and Tim Kaspar (Melissa). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; other family members and friends.
