She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Lopez; her son Anthony Lopez; her parents, Josephine DeLoa and Abelardo Leon; her siblings, Frank, Martin, Joe DeLoa, Isabel DeLoa and Stella Mason; and her grandparents, Charles and Ruth DeLoa.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Lopez and Virginia Ciganek (Chris); her close friends, Rita VanSant and Venita Payton; her grandchildren, Tony Joe, Alisha, Shierra, Dakota, Jaime, Nina, Adam, Nick and Cristina Stevenson (Michael); and her siblings, Mary DeLoa, Helen Mendoza, Chita Jimenez (Junior Florentino), Linda Cataldo, Rosie Leon, Susana Leon and Joseph Leon. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Funeral Home (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz (5108 F St, Omaha, NE 68117). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (2310 O St, Omaha, NE 68107).
