She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Loren C. Robinette and Alma D. Robinette (Phillips); her former husband Robert Steinwart; her children, Janice and Clinton; her husband David Mercer; and her children, Rodney Steinwart (LuAnn) of Kearney, Roger Steinwart (Janet) of Ogallala and Christy O'Hara (George) of Lakewood, CO. She was also cherished by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Wanda's memory for later designation to support the local police department and Methodist Church.
