We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Sillas James Sillasen of Ogallala, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Sillasen and Mabel Sillasen (Krab); his wife Verna McGreer; his sister Donna Ledbetter (Herb); his parents-in-law, Coyle and Clara McGreer; and his brothers-in-law, Wilber McGreer (Pat) and Harold.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Miller (Creighton), Joanell Klug (Ron) and Lee Sillasen (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Andrew Klug (Lynnette), Angela Maursted (Derek), Karleen Muhle (Chad), Darcey Saxton (Karl), Stacy Decker (Gordon), Jason Sillasen (Elizabeth) and Erin Sillasen-Banks (Lucas). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, many friends.

A memorial has been established for the Paxton Volunteer Fire Department.
